To demonstrate and rehearse safe dynamic handling techniques appropriate to their tasks and working environments

To establish an understanding of relevant workplace risk factors and how injuries occur and how to prevent them

To establish a knowledge of basic functional anatomy and an appreciation of its role in postural awareness and back care, (the ‘Why’ behind the ‘How’ in easy to understand, jargon free terms)

To introduce staff to the principles of dynamic risk assessment and its application in the working environment

    Osteopaths For Industry provide delegates with certification for a 3 year period following the successful completion of the Manual Handling Practical Skills Course. Delegates are assessed for their understanding of the course content and must also demonstrate the practical techniques to become certified.
